Jane Doe 1969

Forensic reconstruction of Lompoc, CA's Jane Doe 1969.

On Sunday, August 3, 1969 the body of this murder victim was found on Highway 1 just south of Lompoc, CA. After lengthy investigation her identity was never established.

Jane Doe was described as a white female, 16 to 25 years old, approximately 5'4" tall, around 125 pounds and with shoulder-length, medium-brown hair. She had pierced ears, and most notably "bucked teeth." She was wearing home-made clothing with a flower print similar to clothes worn by the youth of that time period.

She died from multiple stab wounds.

Jane Doe's remains were buried at the Lompoc Cemetery in 1969. In 2001, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Department Detectives exhumed the remains. The skull and jaw were sent to a Forensic Reconstruction Artist who created the above renditions of Jane Doe's appearance.
