The
Ford Zephyr Zodiac |

The
Ford Zephyr Zodiac was a late 1950s / early 1960s European model. In
Britain it was used |
as a police car. The crossed hood and grille
ornaments, while not circular, cannot be ignored |
when considering
the car as a possible inspiration for the killer's symbol. Bruce
Davis had traveled |
to
England at least twice. The car
featured here is a 1966 model. |

This Is The Zodiac
Speaking . . . |
|
In
the documentary The Beatles Anthology, Copyright © 2003,
Apple Corps Limited, the fact that Ringo Starr and manager Brian
Epstein had both owned Ford Zephyr Zodiacs is mentioned by both
George Harrison and Paul McCartney. Since Charles Manson was so
overwhelmed by the Beatles, this is another reason why he could
have chosen the name Zodiac for his plot. |
